How it works, straight talk
Sidi Kaouki (half-day, 50–60€/person or 90–110€/vehicle): the wildest beach near Essaouira — walk the dunes, watch the surfers, eat grilled fish at a beach shack. Simple, raw, unforgettable.
Imsouane (full day, 65–75€/person shared): the famous Cathedral point and the Magic Bay, where a single wave can ride for 600 meters. Time to swim, watch the surf scene and have lunch in the fishing village. Private vehicles (90–110€) combine both spots at your pace. Bring cash — card machines are rare on this coast.

Is Sidi Kaouki worth it if I don't surf?
Absolutely — it's simply the most beautiful wild beach near Essaouira: kilometres of empty sand, dune walks, camels and grilled fish shacks. Surfing is optional atmosphere.
Can beginners surf at Imsouane?
Yes — Magic Bay is one of the friendliest long waves in the world for learning. We can add a board and instructor to your trip: tell us in the request.
How long is the drive?
Sidi Kaouki: 25 minutes south. Imsouane: about 1h45 north. The private vehicle lets you combine both in one day.
Is there phone signal / cards accepted?
Signal is patchy and most shacks are cash-only. Bring dirhams — your driver will suggest the good lunch spots (6–12€ for grilled fish).
