Do I need a driving licence to ride a quad in Essaouira?
No licence is needed for guided tours on private tracks and the beach. You must be 16+ to drive solo; younger teens ride as passengers. The guide sets the pace for the slowest rider.
Is quad biking safe for beginners?
Yes: quads are automatic, the first 15 minutes are a practice briefing, and the guide keeps the group on terrain matched to the level. Helmet and goggles are always included in our ranges.
What happens if it's windy or rainy?
Wind is normal in Essaouira and tours run year-round. In case of heavy rain or unsafe sandstorm conditions the operator reschedules free of charge or refunds — it's written in your quote.
Where is the meeting point?
The base is 10–15 minutes south of the medina, near Diabat. Exact pin, time and what to bring are in your voucher; pick-up from your riad can be added in the quote.
Can two people ride one quad?
Yes, most quads take a driver + passenger. The private sunset tour price (120–180€) is per quad, so for two people it's the best-value option.
